5Durable and Well Designed
By Airborne
I really enjoy this item. It is well-designed, durable and spacious. I'm a frequent traveler and needed a suitcase that was not too large, yet spacious on the inside. After going through a few other medium-sized suitcases, I opted to buy this suitcase basaed on recommendations from a department store sales representative. I am very pleased with his recommendation. Additionally, I'm even more pleased with the price that it was advertised for on amazon.com.

1Defective Telescoping Handle
By Steve Withington
I travel often for business and have had pretty good luck with my other TravelPro gear. However, the Crew 8 line appears to have a serious design flaw. The telescoping handle has two pins that need to retract so it can slide to and and from each position. Unfortunately, the push button lever on the top of the telescoping handle malfunctions after limited use. My first handle broke within 3 trips. I had to take it to a repair shop to have fixed. The second handle broke on the first trip! Thank goodness after my first experience I started carrying some electrical tape so I could at least tape the holes up tight enough to keep the malfunctioning pin from setting.

I would like to point out that I also purchased a matching 26" model at the same time and not only did the telescoping handle break on my first trip, but the handle to lift/carry the piece snapped right off when I arrived to the airport on my first trip as well!

Speaking of repairs, you may want to check the TravelPro website to see if there's a repair shop near you, otherwise you're stuck with shipping and packaging costs to the manufacturer.

Overall, as a longtime user of their luggage, I'm highly disappointed with TravelPro on this lineup.

5Great Suitcase
By Ryan Z.
I recently bought this for a conference trip to Chicago. I took mainly khakis and button downs. Suitcase worked great, handle felt sturdy, zippers were big and sturdy feeling, suiter worked well even though I didnt even up wearing my suit at all. The expandability of it was nice since I had to bring back the standard vendor swag back from the conference. Wheels are nice and big and smooth too. Nothing bad I can say about it yet, only been used on one trip.
